In Venezuela the people think, sit's rude when you don`t say hello, when you are arriving en a place. don`t let your spot when an elderly person get in the bus. Also It`s rude when you don`t let your seat to a woman. It`s when you don`t ask to sit at the table before eat. Is impolite when you blow you nose in front of the other people. in Venezuela the older people, woman, and kids has a priority. People can drink alcohol when they are 18 and more. You can`t use a gun till you have 23 years and more. you can drive when you have 18.
When you are in U.S. you can see others things. For example: The people It`s very quiet than the Venezuelan people. Venezuelan people is very happy than the U.S. people. In U.S. people can drive a car at 16 years old. In US. people can drink alcohol till 23 year old. In conclusion there`s different cultures in each country, many things It`s considerate rude than the other, but if you are in a other country you most to be flexible

I think that you are exactly right! When we're in another country, we must be flexible and tolerant of the cultural differences. When I read Julie's description of what she wanted from the students as far as cultural differences, and how to deal with them, I thought that maybe having a sense of humour about our differences might work, but you had a better answer!
ReplyDeleteI think, when we are in another country, we have to follow the rules that each country has We can't always do the same than in our country bacause there are different rules and our rules can be rude for other people from different culture.
